There was flexibility with my schedule that allowed me to learn and enjoy my summer. I enjoyed the people I worked with and the experience I had. As an environmental studies student, the Oberlin curriculum lacks aquatic science and marine biology. I was able to learn through my experience and bridged a gap in my learning experience.
What I wish was different
I wish there was a little more training especially as it retains to the curriculums we were supposed to teach.
