Prompt Engineering Intern – AI Agent Design (PAID Intern -Summer 2025)

Internship Overview

This summer we are looking to hire one PAID intern to help our engineering team build our next product. We’re building two AI agents to support creators and community leaders. We're hiring a Prompt Engineering Intern to lead the design, development, and testing of both agents — working closely with product and engineering teams to build real, user-facing features.

You’ll work at the intersection of conversational design, prompt chaining, and lightweight AI integration — helping turn static workflows into smart, responsive agents.

What You’ll Build

1. Community Builder Agent
- Helps users launch new communities inside the HotMic app
- Guides naming, thumbnail creation, rule setting, and content direction
- Functions like a creative co-pilot to simplify onboarding

2. Debate Host Agent
- Manages competitive livestreams between users
- Selects and delivers structured debate questions
- Hosts the event flow, keeps time, and ensures balanced participation

What You’ll Do

- Design structured prompt workflows to guide agent behavior
- Use tools like OpenAI, Claude, or LangChain to experiment and iterate
- Collaborate with product and design to integrate agents into real UI
- Analyze outputs, run test cases, and improve prompt performance
- Document logic, performance insights, and user experience decisions

What We’re Looking For

- Strong written communication and creative problem solving
- Curiosity about LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-driven UX
- Comfortable with structured thinking, user-centric design, and iteration
- Bonus: Experience with Python, GPT APIs, LangChain, or front-end prototyping
- Passion for live content, creators, or social platforms is a plus
