Social Media & Marketing Intern
Berkeley Pharma Tech is in search of a part-time Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join our team and assist in support of company’s growth. The core of this role is the creation of social media content that engages new followers. Must be highly motivated, creative with the ability to be proactive and must be able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively. This position will entail supporting the needs of our business and scientific activities.
Duration: August 27, 2025 - December 19, 2025
Location: Work from home. You must live in the U.S.
Hours: 12 hours per week

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to brand building via online marketing
Pitch ideas regarding strategic planning
Update the company’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and website
Content writing
Edit images and texts for online social media
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Currently enrolled in an accredited highschool or university and/or pursuing a BA in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or a relevant field
No prior experience in social media and marketing is OK as long as the candidate is willing to learn
Comfortable working with a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite
Type 40+ words per minute
Some experience with Adobe Photoshop and other photo-editing software
Some knowledge of the Biotechnology market is a plus
