Social Media Marketing Intern (TikTok + IG Reels) — Help Build the Anti-Doomscrolling App

TL;DR

We’re Cobweb—a hardcore focus app that helps people break phone addiction by locking them out and putting real money on the line. We're looking for a TikTok/IG-obsessed intern to create short-form content, shape our brand voice, and work directly with the founder. 3-month paid internship, with a clear path to a long-term role if it’s a great fit. Every application will be personally reviewed.

Cobweb is a hardcore focus app that helps people break phone addiction by putting real money on the line. If you use your phone during a focus session, you pay. No willpower. No soft nudges. Just accountability.

We’re a small, scrappy team building a brand with teeth—and I’m looking for a creative, smart, and fast-moving intern to own our TikTok and Instagram. This isn’t a generic content role. You’ll help define the brand voice, pitch bold ideas, and ship videos that actually get people to stop scrolling.

You’ll be working directly with me, the founder, and I’ll personally read every single application.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Own creative direction and brand strategy across our socials
  • Create and post ~2 TikTok/IG Reels every day
  • Pitch original, strategic content ideas—not just follow trends
  • Write sharp captions and CTAs that drive engagement
  • Help define our brand tone and POV through visuals and voice
  • Analyze performance and iterate fast

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven ability to create original, viral short-form content (show us your work!)
  • Solid editing chops (CapCut, InShot, Adobe Rush, or similar)
  • Strong writing instincts—especially for hooks, voice, and call-to-actions
  • Familiarity with TikTok/IG analytics and growth levers
  • Self-directed and consistent—you can manage a posting rhythm
  • Strategic mindset: not just a content machine, but a builder
  • Able to commit 5–10 hours/week for 3 months

 

Bonus Points

  • You’ve grown a personal or brand account to 5K+ followers
  • You’re comfortable being on camera and experimenting with formats
  • You’ve worked on campaigns or editorial calendars
  • You have design or motion graphics skills (Figma, Canva, AE, etc.)
  • You’ve worked with startups or helped shape early brands
