Global Marketing Strategy & Operations MBA Intern - Summer 2023

Uber Global Marketing Strategy & Operations interns have the opportunity to build impact by working on real-world projects and supporting strategic decision-making & process improvements by partnering with our team. The Global Marketing team brings the Uber brand to life and ensures the brand resonates with diverse audiences around the world. We challenge marketers to do career-defining work and find innovative, scalable ways to reach new audiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a thought partner to the Global Marketing Strategy & Operations Team, to support the growth of Uber and lead a strategic project end-to-end that analyzes a key business question
  • Develop and support global processes around annual planning and business performance reviews
  • Explore key strategic questions with analytical frameworks and user & industry insights to develop practical recommendations
  • Connect global & local efforts by aligning global visions with local marketing campaigns and identifying findings from regional teams to advise global strategies
  • Communicate recommendations and influence decisions to drive implementation while collaborating on cross-functional initiatives working closely with regional & central marketing, performance marketing, product, and operations teams

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in MBA program (Earliest graduation date December 2023) with a Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Marketing, Strategy or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous work experience in Strategy, Consulting, Startups/Technology or other related areas with familiarity and passion for marketing, technology, online food delivery, and driver/courier service trends
  • Analytical skills with experience addressing cases by understanding how our business operates
  • Grittiness: Never hesitate to dive right in and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrates optimism, respects others and works well in a team
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and comfortable working in a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to clearly deliver information to a variety of audiences
  • A proven track record of leading initiatives and managing projects at your school or previous organization
