Do you want to make a positive impact on children, meet new people and make a difference in the community? If so, then you need to join the Greater Philadelphia YMCA Summer Youth Development Counselor team!
We are looking to hire Summer Youth Development Counselors for 3 different schools in Philadelphia:
· Shawmont School
· J. Hampton Moore School
· Alain Locke School.
If you have a passion to help provide children with a safe, positive and fun summer experience, we need you!
Counselors should be available weekdays from June 21 – August 6, 2021, Monday through Friday from 8am – 4:30pm.
What You Will Do:
- We will train you to implement programs and activities.
- Support the academic day and School District teacher through activities like but not limited to: recording attendance, assist with classroom management and encourage student engagement.
- Embody the Greater Philadelphia YMCA commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants.
- Supervise participants to ensure needs and expectations are met.
