Account Payable Coordinator

MHS Lift is seeking to hire an Account Payable Coordinator to join our team at our corporate Headquarters in Pennsauken. You will work with a team of finance and accounting professionals that supports our customers as well as work closely with our employees.
General Summary:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Matching of Purchase Order (PO) related procurements against receiving documents and the supplier invoice. Investigate differences with the appropriate buyer to ensure proper amount is paid.
2. Vouch non-PO purchases and expenses into the ERP system, ensuring proper coding.
3. Issue weekly check run of approximately 100 checks, pair the checks with their supporting documentation and submit for signature, mailed signed disbursements, maintain filing of supporting documentation.
4. Identify invoices that use tax may be required to be paid and work with the accounting staff accordingly to do so.
5. Review vendor statements monthly. Work with departments to ensure all invoices on the vendor statements have been addressed accordingly.
6. Work with the accounting staff on the monthly close inclusive of the monthly closing of the AP subledger and reconciliation of the unvouchered liability account.
7. Process manufacturer credits for warranties and assist with the reconciliation of the warranty receivable account.
8. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
9. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Job Qualifications:
1. High school diploma required; College degree preferred
2. Minimum 3 years of Accounts Payable experience in a Corporate Environment
3. Knowledge of GAAP
4. Analytical and detail oriented
5. Vendor Relationship
6. Ability to Multitask
7. Strong professional communication skills
8. Strong computer skills including Microsoft office applications
