SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Sigmapharm Laboratories, located in
Bensalem PA, is an innovative pharmaceutical company specializing in the development
and manufacture of unique generic oral
solid dosage forms. We are accepting applications from third and fourth year students for a four to eight week summer internship opportunity. Students seeking opportunities that will stimulate their interests in a real-world, industry relevant experience need apply.
TWO PROGRAMS AVAILABLE:
Technology Lab:
Work closely with an experienced pharmaceutical industry scientist in formulation and drug development. The tech lab offers interns the ability to see and take part in drug development from the early stages of pre-formulation to the process development while manufacturing larger batches.
Analytical Chemistry Lab:
Work closely with an experienced pharmaceutical industry scientist developing the test methods used to test new drug products. Although not involved directly with the manufacture of drug products, an intern in this lab will learn the principles and operating methods of a variety of commonly used pharmaceutical test equipment as well as perform wet chemistry testing.
