E&S Academy is a vocational school that has been around for over 10 years. Our academy is expanding and is looking for a new team member. E&S prides itself on its team atmosphere, and tight knit culture. All staff members work collaboratively to ensure best results and are always there to lend a hand. We are looking for a Director to contribute to the continued success of our Academy. A leader that is collaborative and motivated to progress to newer heights with our school!
Operational Leadership
  • Leads all aspects of school operations, including facilities, school schedules, rosters, student information database, visitors,
  • Manages operations staff and ensures the smooth operation of the main office;
  • Ensures school-wide compliance with health and safety laws, charter contracts, state education mandates, teacher certification, and federal and state workplace regulations;
  • Lead student recruitment
  • Collaborates with IT to ensure fully functioning technology infrastructure;
  • Creates and oversees relationships with outside vendors;
  • Ability to use data to drive improvements in systems and operations.
Culture
  • Build a joyful and rigorous school culture;
  • Support the instructors in fostering consistency in academic and behavioral expectations;
Community Engagement
  • Builds and fosters relationships with community leaders and organizations, including maintaining robust database of community organizations.
Qualifications
  • Passion to improve the minds, characters, and lives of students both in and out of school;
  • Ability to think strategically and innovatively, in order to continuously improve school operations;
  • Proactive, strategic problem-solver who is able to work successfully in a fast-paced environment, often while balancing competing priorities;
  • Grit, personal responsibility, and a dedication to continual professional growth;
  • High quality communications skills with multiple audiences including teachers, students, families, vendors, and colleagues.
Required Experience
  • 4 or more years of work experience;
  • School-based or other educational experience preferred;
  • Project planning experience required, with proven ability to see large projects through to completion;
  • Experience managing others preferred;
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
 
COVID-19 considerations:
All personnel must wear face masks when within 6 feet from each other. There is plexi-glass placed on front desk. Doors are locked inside the office, and only people that completed COVID-19 Exposure Checklist and temperature taken may be allowed entry.
 
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
