Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary)

Robert Half Accountemps has a great opportunity available for an Accounts Payable Clerk with an organization that offers an appealing company culture among highly skilled professionals. The candidate in this position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager while attending to the general administrative needs of the Accounting/Finance Department. The candidate will primarily focus on matching and batching codes, resolving accounts payable issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger and processing checks. Located in Williamstown, New Jersey, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term temporary position.
 
Responsibilities:
 
-      Matching, batching, coding, and entering invoices
 
-      Entering, posting, and reconciling batches
 
-      Researching and resolving accounts payable issues with customers or vendors
 
-      Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger
 
-      Maintaining cash applications, account reconciliations and chargebacks

-       Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
 
-      Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
