Account Manager, Truckload

The Account Manager, Truckload reports directly to the Operations Leader. As an Account Manager, Truckload, you will work as part of a team to manage Truckload business within Estes Forwarding. You will be responsible for managing all operational execution including, but not limited to: customer service, shipment management, and problem resolution. The majority of your time will be spent selling and negotiating to honor day-to-day commitments of the account. You will ensure that standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, and other account metrics exist and are executed on a daily basis.
 
Duties include but are not limited to:
 
  • Develops and implements strategies to maintain and/or expand profitability and promote EFW transportation services, specifically Truckload Services.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer concerns and exceptions to ensure customer and account satisfaction. 
  • Interfaces with both internal and external customers to understand the customer's overall objectives and requirements.
  • Responsible for developing, managing, and fostering relationships with customers and accounts to ensure retention and create organic growth.
  • Shares details with customers on additional offerings to provide value added service. Collaborates with the appropriate Enterprise parties to ensure the customer’s transportations needs are taken care of.  
  • Responsible for a book of Truckload business which supports the operational and financial objectives of the regional operating center. 
  • Provide claims mediation between the customer, carrier, and EFW Claims Department.
  • Promotes world-class customer care.
  • Meet and exceed predetermined account goals and objectives and reports on progress quarterly. Maintains good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Responsible for adhering to and actively participating in EFW’s standard Performance Management process.
  • Support and promote company core values.
  • Must comply with all company policies, rules, procedures, Code of Conduct, C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.Regular attendance is required
  • Other duties as assigned.
