Verification Interns
Withum will be holding virtual interviews for Verification Interns for Spring 2021.
To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must be a freshman or sophomore interested in pursuing a career in public accounting with a preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher and excellent interpersonal and computer skills. Candidates must be detail oriented and reliable.
How You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Utilizing software called 1040SCAN that utilizes Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology and verify efficiency of the software’s operations
- Verifying and inputting 1040 tax data submitted by clients and scanned into software
- Constantly focusing on details and accuracy of the software’s functionality to successfully prepare tax documents for clients
- Helping maximize efficiency in the 1040SCAN software to facilitate paperless tax workflow
- Providing solutions to errors in 1040SCAN operations to ensure effective results from the software
- Utilizing XCM to ensure proper distribution of completed work to the appropriate person to create efficiency in the completion of tax projects
- Working with the tax department workflow and document storage tools
