Accounts Payable Intern

Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc. (SCBT) has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Intern. The position is at our Dallas, Texas corporate headquarters campus. This is a part-time position with career advancement opportunities within the company. SCBT is a smaller company with a very fast and dynamic work environment.

SCBT is a world leader in the development of products for the biomedical research market. For the past thirty years, SCBT has focused on the development of research antibodies, biochemicals, labware and it has more recently expanded into animal health care products.

The Accounts Payable Intern supports SCBT’s domestic and international offices by collecting, recording, and reporting accounting transactions. Additional growth opportunities in the Accounting Department are available. This position works directly for the AP Manager, with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities will be:

• Perform data entry of invoices into AP system.
• Process invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
• Checking the invoices waiting to be received and posted.
• Contact vendors to verify ACH payment information.
• Ensure vendor master data accuracy in accounting software.
• Maintain organized and accurate AP records.
• Other related duties, as assigned.
