Position Overview

As an Account Manager Intern, you will play a key role in strengthening and expanding PROJXON’s client partnerships by supporting post-sale relationship management, ensuring client success, and identifying opportunities for retention and growth.

This role blends relationship-building with operational execution. You will help clients stay engaged, supported, and aligned with their goals—while collaborating internally to ensure every engagement delivers measurable outcomes. The Account Manager Intern supports the client lifecycle from onboarding through renewal, helping create an excellent client experience and long-term value.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term client partnerships through proactive communication, structured check-ins, and a consultative approach focused on client goals and outcomes.
  • Client Onboarding & Success Support: Assist with onboarding coordination, progress tracking, and client enablement to ensure smooth implementation and strong adoption of PROJXON solutions.
  • Retention & Renewal Support: Help manage renewal timelines, prepare renewal materials, and support efforts to reduce churn by identifying risks early and driving resolution with internal teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business, operations, marketing, and finance teams to align deliverables, solve client issues, and ensure consistent service quality across engagements.
  • Account Performance Tracking & Reporting: Use CRM systems and internal trackers to monitor account health, document client updates, report key metrics, and share actionable insights with leadership.
  • Growth & Expansion Support: Identify opportunities for account expansion (additional services, new projects, broader scope) and assist in preparing proposals and next-step recommendations.

 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed an MBA (or related graduate-level business program preferred)
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles (sales, customer success, account support, recruiting, consulting, or service-based roles)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting
  • Comfort working with timelines, deliverables, and client expectations
  • A proactive attitude, coachability, and a desire to grow professionally
