Job Title: ICR Summer Finance Intern

ICR’s Summer Internship Program offers students an extraordinary opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Investor and Public Relations along with Capital Markets and Corporate Governance at one of the largest and fastest-growing strategic communications and advisory firms.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Finance Intern, students will support the Finance and Accounting team with various long and short term projects; including keeping various databases current, research projects, analysis and more.

All interns will have the opportunity to participate in ICR’s exclusive Lunch & Learn series, featuring accomplished ICR and industry leaders.

 

INTERNSHIP DATES: early June – early August 2026

WORK TYPE: HYBRID, must be able to work from the NYC  Office at least 3 days per week

 

DESIRED MAJORS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

  • Current undergraduates with a projected graduation date in 2027 (Current sophomores)
  • Interest in a career in Finance, Business and Communications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable team player
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills
  • Candidates are required to live within a commutable distance of our New York City office.
  • Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
     

APPLICATION/INTERVIEW PROCESS
 

NOTE: To be considered as a candidate for one of the Project Onramp reserved internships, you MUST be a Pell Grant recipient for the current school year. Reminder: This company  is only seeking current sophomores.  
 

  1. Verify Pell Grant status for the current school year: Take a screenshot of the Pell Grant section from your Financial Aid portal. Feel free to black out the dollar amounts. Send the screenshot via Handshake message or to my email: kevin.nicholas@lifesciencecares.org, **along with a PDF of your resume. Make sure your resume is saved as: First Name Last Name**
  2. Virtual Intro Meeting: Once I have received and reviewed your Pell Grant verification, I will email you to schedule a 30-35 mins video call in the coming days, which may include the weekend/off day, if possible. This is not a formal interview. It is an opportunity for me to meet you, learn a bit about your background and share important details about the Project Onramp program.
  3. Assuming the Intro Meeting goes smoothly, your resume will be submitted to the hiring team for priority review, as a member of Project Onramp.
  4. ICR will contact candidates who have been selected for interviews. 
  5. The interview will be an opportunity for candidates to discuss their background, interests, and experiences that have given them the skills and interest to thrive in this internship. 
  6. Additional steps of the interview process will be shared when necessary.
