Administrative Assistant Intern
NTS is looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant Intern who’s excited to jump in and make an impact across multiple departments. In this role, you’ll get real, hands-on experience with the inner workings of a fast-moving business—helping with documentation, project coordination, scheduling, and day-to-day operations that keep the company running. It’s a great opportunity for someone who’s organized, curious, and ready to learn from a variety of teams. Strong performers may even grow into full-time roles or explore other career paths within the company.
Requirements
- Provide general administrative support, compile reports, and proofread documents.
- Prospect list cleaning for marketing campaigns.
- Basic office errands, mailing, and shipping.
- Answer phone, transfer calls, and take messages.
- Maintain conference rooms and the kitchen area.
- Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Receive invoices and review for accuracy.
- Greet and sign in guests.
- Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Required Qualifications:
Interns must be currently enrolled at a Virginia higher education institution or intending to enroll in the upcoming semester. Interns must have a high school diploma and cannot have already completed their undergraduate degree.
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
- Ability to follow direction and work autonomously through project completion.
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Associate Degree in Business Administration preferred.
