Software Engineer Intern

This role will be an internship that works directly with our CTO and head of engineering.
The Role
Thruline is seeking talented and passionate Software Engineer interns to help plan, design, develop, and test software systems and applications for software enhancements and new products used in the Thruline platform.
Your Average Day
- Participating in regular engineering & product meetings
- Documenting our existing codebase
- Working with the Thruline low code platform to troubleshoot issues
- Writing feature code
- Writing end-to-end tests
- Troubleshooting build issues
- Assist in architecture of new & existing features
- Participating in code reviews
- Working with external team members (design, sales, etc)

What We look for
- Recently graduated with a Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science , Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineer, or equivalent
- Eager to learn TypeScript
- Proficiency with at least one programming language
- Familiar with the software/ web app basics
- Ability to participate in a full-time internship for at least 3 months between September-December
Preferences
- Previous related experience in software engineering (applicable coursework, projects, internships, etc.)
- Experience with production-grade Node.js, Angular, MongoDB
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with manufacturing operations, logistics, or inventory management
- Previous startup experience
Salary
The U.S. pay range for this position is $18 - 26 hourly.
